Iterations uses the SiegeWar add-on plugin for Towny, adding a non-destructive warfare system that can be optionally engaged with. A Town can choose to opt out of warfare, but doing so sacrifices some of their political weight.
Sieges
Sieges consist of a limited duration king of the hill style battle in proximity to a Town.
To start a siege, place a colored banner next to a hostile Town.
Siege points are gained via player kills or through occupying the area around the banner, which gives points over time.
Plundering
After winning the battle, the attacking general may place a chest nearby the Town.
This will grant (income amount) per plot and deposit it to the attacking Nation bank.
Plundered Towns cannot fall due to money loss, only go bankrupt.
Invading a Town
A General or Leader of the Nation who won a siege may place a banner near the defeated Town.
This action invades the Town and sets the victorious Nation as an occupier.
The occupied Town remains a full part of the home Nation, except when accounting for Nation rankings, domination awards, nation bonus plot generation, and influence on nearby peaceful Towns.
Neutral Towns
It is possible for a Town to declare neutrality.
This results in your Town becoming immune to attack, but prevents you from participating in wars.
It also allows Nation influence to subvert your Town's authority and cause the Town nearest to you with the highest influence to occupy your Town peacefully.
It is possible to revolt against occupation by placing a non-white banner outside the Town.
if there is zero Nation influence on the town, the Town instantly becomes de-occupied.
Neutrality Related Actions
As a Nation Leader or General, become the Nation with the highest Towny-Influence in a 1500 radius of the target neutral Town, and place a non-white banner outside the target Neutral town. This will instantly Subvert the target Town and add it to your Nation's roster.
